Practical STEM activities for the classroom with STEMWizz

Target Audience:  2nd - 6th Class Primary School Teachers, SET

Outcomes of the workshop:

The ‘StemWizz Train the Trainer’ model hinges on giving teachers and people that work with young people the ability to deliver new exciting learning opportunities.

During the workshop, participants will:

• learn how to run STEM education workshops and where to source the materials needed for these activities
• learn about the different concepts within STEM and how you can encourage other teachers to get involved in this major education movement
• build your very own robots
• look at the best way to get the most out of your school budgets by planning group workshops
• be confident enough and be equipped with the skills to deliver their own STEM workshops.

Each participant will take home 2 STEMWizz projects which they may use in the classroom.

StemWizz is a business dedicated to providing innovative and effective tools for education systems to teach young people Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, (STEM) through our DIY learning STEM Kits.

At StemWizz we believe no two young people are the same. Figuring out your learning style is a key to creating your own path and thriving.  Now and again, and to no fault of our own, we can get stuck trying to learn in styles which don’t suit us, and this results in harder, more frustrating learning experiences for us.

Some naturally find their way which is fantastic but many unfortunately never discover their strengths meaning they get stuck in courses and jobs they have no interest in. StemWizz DIY Kits are diverse learning aides, which assist young people in developing their skills.

Our Kits aide in the development of important life skill sets such as critical thinking, problem solving, social skills and cognitive learning styles.
